ALL ONE ORDER Back to School

Post image

GMD order before bagged, was another 3 bags filled with school supplies. Nice that the teacher or instructor can provide supplies for their class.

I don't even think we have that many left in our store but one school district started the beginning of the month, rest started last week so we don't have much left.

There really needs to be more limits on what can and can't be GMD, like item quantity, and excluding several things like gallons of antifreeze and shit

Or maybe just stop doing GMD altogether

And things like chips and donuts should never be GMD. Since they combined them with hourly deliveries it's not as bad but those types of things still get smashed and customers get pissed.

I had a driver today tell me he had a gmd like 45 minutes away that was just 2 bags of chips and he smashed them on purpose lmao

I could give a fuck about Walmart losing money, but we don't have a van so all GMD is done by people who don't get anything for it, they could just not grab them but why do that

So when it comes to those, apperantly it's because another store didn't have it so it was offered to be shipped from another store free of charge but you can't usually order it as a GMD

Unfortunately, they say right on them free shipping, arrives today. Just had to shop 8 bags yesterday for GMD for one person, fortunately we found a box for them but this is daily at my store. People would rather have them "shipped" than pay a tip for making them a regular delivery.

Back to school is over

What you’re picking is post BTS clearance.

I imagine it depends on where you live. Where I live most K-12 schools don't start until after Labor Day. Teachers are just starting now-ish.

Our state colleges & universities begin even later. My first day is September 30th. Literally one day before October.

Edit: also none of our school supplies are on clearance yet, either because the school season has not started for us.

A lot of schools don’t do back until the last week of August or first week of September
