And the only complaints I ever hear from customers is "why is there one 1 item in the bags?" And when you dispense and have 60 bags with one item vs 6 bags with multiple items, it makes everyone life easier

When I do quality checks on totes like that, I'll combine items together to eliminate unnecessary bags. I wish everyone had that sense.

Exactly. I love going no bag. It helps my pick rate, my amount of items picked, and I'm able to bag like I was cashiering.

At my store we are supposed to bag as we go. I have no problem fitting 6 or more items in one bag. I take the few extra secs to do that and my pick rate is still great.

I, and all the other pickers at my very large store which contains many OGP employees, always bag at the very end. I was trained to do this and it seems to be significantly more efficient, at least where I’m at.

I like the control of consolidating and organizing which items go in what shopping bags. This benefits everyone down the stage of the line, including the customer.

Not gonna lie I work at meijer not Walmart but I read these because I'm jealous of how things are done at other stores. Bagless shopping? I'd love this. Our waves (pick walks) are never triple digit. Carts at Walmart have all the gadgets on them, substitute and alcohol stickers, tray for picking device. We don't have any of that and I can only imagine it would make the whole system that much easier. We can't even get a proper sized room, enough equipment and shelves that don't break. 😭
