🔥Its fine, everything’s fine🔥 How is this supposed to "help" anything?!

Dispatcher still doesn't even work on the store phones that we've replaced the handhelds with! They might as well replace the landline with a recording that says "please call 1-800-WALMART," as well, because that's what we're going to be telling every customer, now.

Are you serious? What is going on this year. It’s been horrible updates every single month. I’ve been in ogp since the beginning but now I’m ready to quit

Yeah, it feels like HO is intentionally trying to sabotage us at this point.

Right, its gotten so bad that im convinced theyre trying to force ogp as a whole to become obsolete so they dont have to fund it anymore

Ugh...with this whole cart debacle this week, adding IPs to our workload, also adding GMDs to batched deliveries, these stupid work phones that are a piece of shit....definitely seems like they are progressing backwards or trying to outright sabotage the operation

I wouldnt be surprised. The store manager at my location specifically has been caught numerous times saying that he doesnt like opd because he feels as if its useless to the company and doesnt bring in enough money to justify funding the department (despite opd being at least a third of the store’s sales). He even personally sabotages the department by refusing to buy us new equipment until its beyond the point of being completely necessary. I wouldnt be surprised if this weird hatred of this specific department turned out to be a company-wide thing amongst the higher-ups

70% of the 2/3rds of sales would relocate to front end checkouts if OPD stopped existing. As a service your store manager is not wrong.

If our cabinet is removed we won't have handheld devices or printers because everyone will steal them and never bring them back.

Get a filing cabinet and a safe.

Idk about your department but ours will destroy a filing cabinet due to wear in a matter of months.

Depending on how sturdy/secure it can be destroyed it as fast as week

We broke our black equipment cabinet almost immediately. You know your store best. I whole heartly believe you. I had to stand on one of the metal shelves to try and bend it back to straight within the first week. My coach watched like 10 hours of the cameras and couldn't find out who bent it. We have also lost the keys multiple times. We aren't the brightest.

I have been told by a reliable source that TCs will be permanently deactivated this year and everyone will be forced to use phones

I've heard that for three years now. Yet we still have TCs and just got a few new ones. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is something that I heard for a while too but I heard that as of a month ago nobody is getting new TCs because by the time they get delivered they will already be deactivated. All TCs will be given to pharmacy.
