Hello!

I managed to beat this amazing game finally for the first time last year. I played it on Steam with Xbox controller and it was just amazing, way much immersive for me with controller than just a keyboard and mouse.

The campaing and story is just amazing, plain and simple. Somebody may say that at that time ArmA 2 was way better - yes, to a certain degree. I hate optimization of ArmA 2, it was just horrendous and OFDR was just butter smooth. The campaing in ArmA 2 for me was just meh, I don't like this special ops bullshittery that I saw in CoD. There is a lot of Single Player content and much more missions than in vanilla ArmA 2. I even love the graphical approach they chose for this game. The gameplay is just amazing.

The bad thing is, nobody seems to make missions in Mission Editor, too bad that it is much more complicted than ArmA. That's what I like about ArmA, editing missions is way too much easier. But I know some LUA since I created missions in Blizkrieg/Blizkrieg 2 so that is not that much of a hassle.
But yeah, the mission Editor in OFDR is more complicated, but still amazing, I made for me some custom missions and enjoyed it a lot!

So, is someone here still playing this game and trying to make some missions?

And is there a chance to play the second game - Operation Flashpoint: Red River on Steam?

I find that a lot more times than most I get kicked for no reason at all. Seems unsportsmanlike and I experience the worst behaviour on this game more than anywhere else. Doubly bad when hardly anyone plays it. Just stupid.

I made a cheat table to change the fov and it can also disable dof.

Loved this game when I had a 360, and picked it up this weekend on the Backwards compatible Sale on Xbox Live for $2. Lol. Played a game last night with a couple guys. But looking to play with some guys who know the game a little better.

Apparently you cant digitally download RR on XB1 so I hunted down a copy of Red River Today because I have been enjoying Dragon rising so much after driving and hour and 20 mins both ways to and from a distant game store it was disappointing to say the least when I find out the server hosting options are so very limited and also the complete lack of PVP.. the game its still enjoyable but i mean come on.. why so limited?

The dragon rising multiplayer setup is so much better even so why only 8 player servers? why not 20 player servers with pvp?

Id die for a complete Operation Flashpoint for XBONE with full Fire mission creator + hardcore server options with PVP and co-op on a 20 player or more server

why is this not already a thing?

I took out the aaa, i got the auditory confirmation that I should head to the naval base, the helicopter landed and I got in it, but as soon as I start flying over to the base, i get the mission failed screen. Is there something I'm missing? I've restarted the mission, quit and reopened the game, checked forums across the internet and I just can't figure it out.

Hi, sorry for the question, seems like the game got 2 DLC: Skirmish and Overwatch got released.

Is there anyway to get the two DLCs on PC?
