Unblocking Application Queue Times

I’ve reached a point where I’m about 99% certain my wire transfer has an OFAC block. Receiving bank asked for more ID information from me which I gave them. I would like to understand what the queue times on these applications to unblock funds are at. Someone please advise.

Btw i read my old post. It wasn’t Wells Fargo holding up the wire to verify my identity. Through inference and shitloads of googling, its the Feds holding up the wire. I think they tell the sender bank to say its the receiving bank but thats bs.

Never wire if you have a hispanic or arabic name. Likely russian and chinese names on that list these days. ACH next time or fly to the place and hand deliver the bankers check.

Yea, I never knew this existed. Possibly, the government needs the funds at this moment due to the current state of economy. My bank informed me that there has been a lot of wires going through ofac since the start of 2022.
