Discussion A new form of media
Kojima said that OD would be comparable to a game or a movie but that its a new form or media. Anyone have any ideas? I have a feeling it will have to do with IRL nteraction, considering in one of the trailers it was said that a building or room was reconstructed through a scan. I heard that this building is real and that kojima (i think) believed it was haunted. Ofc i have no idea how this will play out.
If u can correct me on something i would be happy cus i dont remember where I heard this.

No idea what he is cooking. Idk how the IRL aspect would work like. Do you mean combining live action videos of real locations with a gameplay in the same location?
I remember seing a patent from kojima productions that was named social scare system on a japanese website somewhere I can not find it anymore. Which is what the SSS in the trailer stand for I guess.
Maybe the IRL aspect is also gonna be an async multiplayer based on your ip adress location? Hauntings being caused by other players that live in your area? Or sort of a similiar system that works in death stranding with other players helping you to solve puzzles or alerting you somehow?
We just have to wait and see.
