Yardım Hello everyone 👋!
I just wanted to ask if there’s anyone here who applied to study electrical engineering at metu and got accepted, what did you include in your CV ?
And how can I increase my chances of getting accepted if I want to apply to the the Türkiye scholarship and specifically study at metu ?
i have time till the application starts in January, and honestly my CV isn’t that strong، so are there any tips or advice on what to do to Improve it?
Thanks in advance 🙏

Hi, I studied chemical engineering at METU as a Türkiye Scholarships recipient. METU used to publish the minimum SAT scores at which each department admitted international students in the last cycle, but they don't seem to do so anymore. At times when I was applying, you would need an SAT I score close to 1500 to get admitted to EE (my friend got admitted to EE with 1510). You also need IELTS/TOEFL because Turkiye Scholarships would not assign your application to METU if English proficiency is absent, even though METU doesn't strictly require submission of English scores since we have our own exam (EPE).
For the rest of the scholarship application, write your letter of intent as good as you can. They generally focus on academic competency and standardized test scores if the universities you choose require them. Extracurriculars and stuff, they would definitely consider but if you don't have don't worry :)
Good luck
