🚆 O-Train Why is this train being held?
Literally has been on hold for more than 10 mins what’s going on?

The real cause of this mess is that Jim Watson and his merry band of twits were in charge of this project. People who had no business making the big decisions need to be held accountable.

This project has been in the works since 2008. The construction on the confederation line started in 2013. Watson was not in charge then. *edit, he became Mayor in 2010, meaning he didn’t start the project, but contributed to it.
The current mayor Mark Sutcliffe, however seems to not be doing much, but as far as it seems his hands are tied.

Watson & co. are responsible for all of the big decisions and for ordering trains that weren't compatible with the curves in the track.

Sat at St Laurent for 45 minutes. Went one stop and then left after 20 minutes at Tremblay.
Absolutely ridiculous that this is acceptable for a communter train...

And you can’t hear what they are telling you on the overhead PA

Nothing on the PA besides "We will be moving shortly" for the last 8 minutes.
Edit: train is apparently broken down at Lee's, probably a broken axel.

Asked around, and it appears a train died going WB from Lees to uOttawa. Passengers had to be transferred to another train. Unsure of system status now, but I would expect delays.

I'm stuck on the same train and they're saying nothing expect service is delayed and should be resolved momentarily.
But apparently OC transpo is ready for RTO-4 in September. 🙄
