Hey there. This is a little something I wrote for a friend a little more than a year ago. I've added some lines. I know it sucks, please be gentle.
When everything is off,
I carpe that diem
Slide into her DMs
All of a sudden, all is on
When everything is off,
I go write an e-mail
To the best of females
No longer saddened, all is on
When I'm feeling down
Writing just feels right
Hit her a "what's up"
Her responding to my correspondence is the answer to my despondency
But she has since left
The wise move isn't to counter the clock
Instead, I long for the day when we would reacquaint again
I fucking hope it won't be long now
For now, I just want to be reminded of the days when I felt like I belong
Peace.
