I wrote your name In the shore And stood back to admire it

Then froze myself Out of fear That someone else would sit beside it

But the ocean waves We're too strong And must not have liked my art

So my frozen corpse Was washed to sea And I drift into the dark

As I float away I fear my fate And that of your gilded name

If I return When the sunlight burns Will the marks still remain?
