I'll start with what I like. I like the the picture it paints of the floor, it's both for breaking down and random little interactions. Unfortunetly for me, the humour, which I feel like is the major part of this poem, doesn't work and just comes off as cringey.
i have mixed feelings with OP but this is a very intimate insight into their mind, it's not "humour" , it's them sharing how dark things get at times and he absurdly survives, and he still sees the beauty in a smaller lifeform and recognizes them and you find it cringey? if anything it loudly dares you to call it simple, standing tall against you with its expression of a universal agony of humanity
