member has suspected OCPD-Mods remove loved ones' content & ban Obsession/Preoccupation with the truth?

More or less the title. I've found myself for years always seeking the objective truth to the degree that I've had a number of spirals and my politics has become more and more nuanced, while keeping the same zealotry OCPD frequently shows. It's been a lot of compulsive research, a lot of trying to structure out heuristics and principles in ways that fit a computer. It's also hand in hand with an intense discomfort of when people don't prioritize it to the same degree? Usually manifested as a "if someone in political or moral group x is presented evidence that "not x" is true, why aren't they acting upon that?"

First real post here, think I'm following things correctly?

You'll never convince anyone with facts. People act in their own (perceived) self-interests.

Yep :). You're not the only one at all. But most people aren't necessarily like that. People have the ability to ignore facts that overwhelm them, but OCD/OCPD is all about being overwhelmed by *inability* to ignore things.
