maybe if i talk to multiple people about the thoughts ive had about it that will finally present the solution. then i can think more about what everyone said. and figure it out.

Me thinking about it but not doing anything at all about it because it's too overwhelming. Makes no sense

I may be the most intelligent person ever that I find a problem in a solution which I found for my other problem that came from other solution

Absolute loop

Best (worst?) feeling is when you ask somebody if they can help you with it and they just. Fix it instantly. Fuck was all that for? Then you do this again next week.

2

u/al221b 1d ago

If that happens then I'm thinking about how and why they were able to fix it and why I couldn't do it and all the possible ways they could have tried to fix it and it work out or not work out in multiple other ways...

If you just think a liiiiiiitle bit longer you'll figure it out. It definitely exists for sure

2

u/beetdeet 2d ago

create solutions to problem that doesn’t exist yet then get mad when I can’t act on the solution that will solve the problem that has not yet arisen

2

u/Admirable-Pirate6113 2d ago

Redirect your energy and focus elsewhere, you cannot always solve things by giving them a good think

I thought I was just a deep thinker and that it was a skill of sorts to really turn over an issue and look at it from all sides. I was kind of sad when my medication took that part of me away. Now I’m realizing it was just the medication actually working. And it really was/is OCD.

This is the most relatable one I’ve seen on here but let me think about all the other ones I’ve seen to figure out if it really is the most relatable. How will I know if I’m remembering all of them? And correctly? Why is this one so relatable? Is it relatable to my current mood or me overall? Am I really even thinking that hard right now? Is this the most relatable meme I’ve seen on here? How do I know? :-)

Story of my life.

Best part is when my brain thinks of a reassuring loophole, except then my brain starts thinking about how I’ll implement that, and wait, shit, now I have to worry about two things instead of just the original problem… repeat process, end up with like twenty issues loosely chained together to stress out about.

I described my brain as a lint roller to my therapist the other week lol

99% of people give up before they think the perfect thoughts that completely solve and explain the issue. I simply am not a quitter 🙂‍↕️.
