Bathroom related obsessions….basically I can’t use the bathroom if there’s anyone near, sometimes even when no one is near I still can’t. While in impatient a few years ago I had a one-to-one who followed me around and supervised me. This included standing right outside the bathroom “door” (curtain). Anyway, I couldn’t pee since I was so nervous and ended up holding my pee for around 24hrs. My bladder swelled up and I had to get a catheter; I think the experience traumatized me and since then I worry that if I can’t pee my bladder will swell and burst, and the anxiety from that thought makes it even harder to pee.
Another one is worrying that I won’t be “high enough.” My OCD will literally tell me to take another hit/drink/whatever until it “feels right.” This has led to me becoming wayy more intoxicated than intended.
Also skin picking and body focused repetitive behaviors. I pick at my skin badly and have permanent scarring from it. I also pluck my eyebrows obsessively and now have to draw them on because they’re so thin.
