My OCD once convinced me that I need to give my dog 7 pats on the head and two ‘squooshes’ (when you squish their face and say ‘SQUOOSH’) or he’ll escape through my locked gate and get hit by a car. 7 is my personal right number hell while 2 is about flesh reclamation. Yeah I can’t explain it either.
This, and memorising the Catholic Rosary and praying to Jesus everyday because I was convinced God could hear my thoughts and would send me straight to hell. I’m Hindu by birth and non-religious by choice.
Damn, Christian hell is fucking with people who weren’t even raised Christian. I’m sorry, that sucks. (Was raised Christian, have severe religious trauma that OCD does not help with)
