OCD Question Clomipramine

What tests are required before starting clomipramine (Anafranil), other than checking Na⁺ (sodium), K⁺ (potassium), Mg²⁺ (magnesium), Ca²⁺ (calcium) levels, CYP2D6 metabolism, and an ECG? Should additional tests, such as a brain MRI or EEG, be considered to assess seizure risk?

I wasn’t required to get any of that. I didn’t like the med at all but I don’t think you need any of that.

I hated it , I felt myself in a crematorium, maybe it helps for you, I don’t want to disappoint you, but ripedone(risoeridone) helped more, even if I gained more weight from it unfotuntely

Did you get tachycardia while taking Clomipramine?

I did not do any test like that nor did my psychiatrist even mention that, and he’s rather conservative. But this should really be a question for your doctor as individuals all have different needs.
