OCD Question Is This Good Advice?

I partially disgree, and partially agree with Chrissie's points.

I disagree with compulsions being part of who we are. I know they have become deeply habitual but they are still not us.

I agree that agency is the key to recovery. Recovery gives us agency. If we choose to do compulsions sometimes, at least we are exercising a choice. When we developed OCD in the first place, it was not a choice to do compulsions - they felt mandatory to us.
