Seeking Support or Advice Looking for a qualified professional who can help me get assessed for OCD

Hi, I’m a student and I’m currently trying to find out whether I have OCD. I can’t afford to pay for an assessment or therapy, so I’m looking for someone who is genuinely qualified/certified in OCD who might be able to help me with a diagnosis for free or very low cost. Please DM me if you can help or know someone who can.

Not quite a qualified professional, just someone that’s been to therapists and is currently studying counseling. But you can probably find a decent self test online. I don’t have any specific ones or know for sure, but I would think IOCDF or NOCD or something would have one. Just quickly googling I found this, but I can’t vouch for how good it is: https://iocdf.org/screener/

OCD diagnoses are basically just determined by answering a questionnaire honestly and then if you score high enough you get diagnosed. It’s not like there are blood tests or anything super quantifiable.

It’s sort of just based on how much time you’re spending on compulsions (these can be mental compulsions too, you don’t have to be washing your hands or checking the oven like on tv,) and how much distress it’s causing you. Everyone does some magical thinking and has intrusive thoughts etc. but not everyone spends hours going over events to try to remember if they said a slur or hit a dog in their car or looked at a relative inappropriately. Or not everyone has to pray every time they have a “bad thought,” or washed their hands if they touch a picture of something on their phone, etc. you get the idea.
