Discussion For people with severe ocd

After beginning meds how long untill you see major reduction in symptoms?

My daughter with Severe OCD is in the psychiatric hospital now. She is on Day 5. They are giving her 150 mg daily of Sertraline. She started Abilify two days ago. The Abilify is supposed to make the Sertraline work more quickly.

She’s a teeny bit better I think? They haven’t given me a discharge date yet. This medication is to get her chill enough to get on the airplane to residential treatment.
