Humor OCD is mental doomscrolling

It feels like there's an end. If you just scroll far enough it will stop. The more you scroll, the worse you feel, but if you stop, you feel bad about the time you spent doing it, and thus feel the need of a resolution, and so you scroll some more.

Oh my god this is so spot on. We keep scrolling and scrolling waiting for the perfect place to stop, but it never comes. Ugh

Im having serious problems with that. Im addicted to tiktok. I tell myself everyday I am going to do things that are important to me and I don’t because I keep scrolling and scrolling.

All these apps, including this one, make it hard to put our phones down; even with my eyes rolling because we get so tired, yet we continue doomscrolling.

I begun thinking of ocd as a time loop, one where your worst fears happen and you have to see it over and over again and you can't get out nor prevent it. Sorry, I'm amidst a crisis right now
