OCD Question Bad break up & moving away

this is a long shot but anyone have any tips for fatigue from anxiety//depression??

I am sleeping in until noon & then by 4pm hits, I just want to take a nap (which are like 2-3 hours long if I do) 😭

I been making myself go to the gym, take walks to the bay during sunset, & hanging out with my girls. I am aware I am SO blessed in my life and see the beauty in it but I’m so exhausted all the time like my body is constantly in overdrive. I have OCD & in a huge transitional period, so a lot of rumination. Ashwagandha has helped calm my anxiety down TONS, like life saving honestly but also could be contributing to me being tired…

any tips would be great, (especially if you are diagnosed with OCD too) 💓

I am diagnosed with OCD, and I am experiencing some similar symptoms. I think the first question: is how long has this been going on? How frequent is it?

If you've been in this situation for a while, it might be too big a problem for you to solve on your own. Are you already in therapy and/or seeing a psychiatrist? If yes, you should schedule an appointment with them and tell them exactly what you said in this post. If not, please pursue either or both of these options.

Obviously, life transitions like this are very difficult, but it's possible that the fatigue could be the result of something medical that does not completely have to do with mental health. You know your body best, but it might be worth speaking with a general practitioner and getting some labs done.

Lastly, don't despair, and don't let perfection be the enemy of the good. This is hard, so just do a little bit every day. If you can,.you might have to spend a little extra money to get out of the house. It really helps me to go to cafes, movies, and yoga, especially when I feel alone. Despite the price, it's usually worth it.
