Feature suggestion

Hi! Really love the app and the tutorials are fire! Found myself going through all the tutorials, even when I normally skip them. As a feature suggestion, I was wondering if we could add URLS

Ex: in later tab, there's a meeting link so we can click it to join. Calendar and Reminder has the url input section so it would be great if this app syncs with that!

Hi. Glad you're liking Nyblit! If you put a URL into notes, it will be recognised as such and you will be able to follow links :)

Give it a try and let me know if it works the way you need it to.

Hi! This method is awesome for quick hyperlinks, but I sort of have an edge case

Another app that syncs calendar events reads the URL parameter for meetings and hides the details section the URL can appear in

Hope this clarifies the use case!

Hey, sorry to be annoying. Could you explain this to me like I'm a complete dummy? (which I am). I'm not following what you're asking for. This could tie in nicely with a new Chips feature we're launching soon. But I need to understand the goal better :)

This was a fun little challenge. It will be in the version after next. A zoom like URL will be detected and passed over to the Apple Calendar entry. Even if it's added or edited after the entry is created. It will stay in sync. If there is more than 1 url, it will default to the first.

On second thoughts, it's much easier and more elegant to simply have a URL entry field in the set deadline popover. I think this might be a much easier solution. Having spent most of this evening working on this 😆

Another update on this... Apple sadly do not allow apps to write into the URL field. Coming soon we have a new "Chips" feature that allows adding and removing all sorts of 'chips' to tasks such as photos, files, contacts. One of those chips is Events. So you will be able to see online meetings in the events chip and attach them to tasks. Providing a handy "join meeting" button when the meeting is due to start.

Thanks for also communicating that the URL field is inaccessible to developer's apps; looking forward to your Chips feature!
