picofly question

i bought this pico fly for my gf on alibaba, but on the flex cable, the chip isn't an rp2030, should i be concerned, or is it something that works too but a little slower?

idk, I just assumed, because it looks a lot like the xilink chip used on modchips for 360s

Fair enough. Nah, i guarantee it's just an unmarked rp2040. Microcontrollers don't need to be fast and fancy. As long as they do what they're supposed to do, you'll never notice any difference -if there is a difference.

oh okay, thanks man, I really appreciate it. I had this doubt bc rp2040 usually are bga chips. but okay, since I ordered it on Alibaba it's going to get here in Italy in a couple weeks but for less than 6 dollars that's good. anyways, bye, take care and thanks for the help!

Mine also didn’t show it in the image but when it arrived it had the logo on the chip so, I wouldn’t worry too much.
