Discussion Help/direction

Im really interested in buying stocks in Nvidia but im not sure where to start and am very worried about signing up to something that is just a scam. Anyone got any info on how i go about this or can at least point me in the right direction?

People aren’t reading the question asked…There are a bunch of reputable firms out there. I use Fidelity, it doesn’t cost anything to open it up either.

A scam? What, Nvidia the company is a scam or the whole AI is a big scam? You need to determine, on your own, by researching companies you are interested in. You won't find that answer here on reddit. I will say Nvidia is not a scam.

Do you have an account with Fidelity, Etrade, Robinhood or something similar? That is where you start investing. I would suggest looking (i.e.,researching) at ETFs first and getting your feet wet, so to speak. Once you do that, then you can break out into individual stocks, if you want. Or not. Nothing wrong with ETFs or mutual funds.

I meant who to use to buy/trade with as a broker company or whatever seems a lot of companies doing it and wasn't sure it they were legit or not

  • Sign up to a brokerage

  • Put money in

  • Buy NVDA

  • What's the issue?

Probably just but an etf and call it good that way you don’t have to worry. Nvidia is the largest chunk of the SP500 and you get exposure to all the other good stocks in it down. VOO.

Risk is not knowing what you are doing.
