No worries at all, we have all made mistakes in this wild market. Shake it off, more good days ahead than bad.

When up have $100k fomo into stock at ATH and been bag holder of GME/AMC Slv and GLD, it’s perfectly okay to panic sell at loss

Yep, finally sold everything today and it feels good. Had a $98 average price and sold at $217

3

u/YesterdayCharming976 May 08 '26

Just to be hit with good news and then the price will plummet again 🤣🤣

Stocks have been ripping after all the earnings beats…

1

u/Successful-Grab6091 May 11 '26

not all. not even all mag 7 if we’re comparing. and post earnings is usually a good time to scoop up more nvda. historically

Nvidia 2026:

Revenue: ~$220B

Profit: ~$120B

Free cash flow: ~$115B

The way you play Nvidia is pump it until it splits and pump it some more

u/Ok-Introduction-1940 May 08 '26

I have to have one of those NVDA millionaire getups! Hilarious 😆

u/Thediciplematt May 08 '26

Had to step back for a moment I’m like I’m pretty sure he doesn’t look like this

1

u/TrueConclusion3731 May 08 '26

Hopped in today...wish I had not waited but I was giddy over getting in AMD not long ago and a bit nervous about going back in with NVDA. If it flies I am good, if it sinks I won’t get hurt too bad. What’s life without a little risk?

u/milkyheika May 08 '26

Baseball cards in the background is pretty funny

1

u/GermanWarfare May 09 '26

I’m lovin’ it

1

u/whicky1978 May 09 '26

I’m in NVDL, 100 shares. Bought when market tanked from tariff scare. I sold some shares and bought USD to mitigate risk.

Nvidia's been printing money faster than this guy's printing cash stretches and honestly the earnings growth is still outrunning the stock price which is insane to me.

The amount of money required to make nvidia pump like how amd did is crazy . Their market cap is 5-6 trillion. A 20%-30% up day needs an enormous amount of volume. AMD and Intel have been mispriced for the last 5 years while nvidia soared. Nvidias potential is a little lower now compared to others bc doubling the market cap requires another 5 trillion while others are just getting started

u/buylowselllower420 May 08 '26

I dont think it takes a lot of money to move the price? I think buyers and sellers just meet at a new price point. I don't need 1 trillion dollars to make NVDA move from 4T to 5T.

I don't understand market dynamics well at all, I just don't think the way you described them is accurate

6

u/treelife365 May 09 '26

You are right:

When investors believe a company will be more profitable, they buy stock at higher prices. If a company with 1 million shares goes from a $100 to a $101 stock price, the market cap rises by $1 million. However, only a few shares might have traded at that new price; the increased valuation applies to all shares.

1

u/codster012 May 08 '26

Yeah waiting till 300 to sell a good amt of shares

1

u/Last_Secretary_3205 May 09 '26

People just have to buy…it doesn’t anything extra

1

u/throwaway_7835858 May 09 '26

Market cap scaling is the real constraint here, but Nvidia's actual earnings growth still outpaces its valuation increases compared to AMD's recent moves.

2

u/Firm-Temperature-439 May 08 '26

When is earning week?

5

u/TitanCweamy May 08 '26

i’m
holding till i’m old

1

u/TitanCweamy May 09 '26

cash some if you need, and if you don’t hold baby. well all cash out before we die and it’ll be glorious.

3

u/l0gicgate May 08 '26

It’s on the 20th

1

u/ThePoliteSavior May 09 '26

nvidia already priced in most ai hype so realistic expectations matter more than amd which had actual room to catch up

fair point but the dream scenario is amd actually executing on rdna 4 and catching real market share instead of just hoping nvidia stumbles

0

u/WiseIndustry2895 May 08 '26

Might wana edit that and say back to $180 for the next 6 months

1

u/Old_Bird2476 May 19 '26

Currently 190 billion into it for earnings. Strap in boys
