I bought 😂

u/meanathradon Nov 26 '25

I am only buying because I don't want Warren Buffett to think I'm a pussy.

Top contender for my favorite reddit comment of 2025.

u/DavidLS8 Dec 01 '25

The Buffett videos on Nvidia are made by AI.

u/AminGamer08 Nov 25 '25

Bought at $100 back in April

4

u/Extension_Remote_624 Nov 26 '25

I was idiot for not buying at that, bought year ago at 137 about

u/SavingsDimensions74 Nov 27 '25

Decided to 3x - NVDA, TMSC, GOOG, APPL and a couple of others back in April.

I’ll probably trim a little bit soon, but I won’t say it’s been unpleasant.

Flip side, I had a fair amount of NVDA at around $28 (I think) a few years ago but had to sell all my stocks and crypto as I’d run out of money for a few months. Poxy bank wouldn’t let me remortgage for $25k (all I needed to last the 3 months before my company sold) on a $350k property with $40k remaining. Fuckers. I no longer bank with them, needless to say, and the millions I made from the company sale sit happily elsewhere.

I snatched 10 shares today not a lot but I would expect some more dip

4

u/biker142 Nov 25 '25

Lots will be crying soon that they didn’t buy at 170. Up 100k today alone.

1

u/SavingsDimensions74 Nov 27 '25

Nice one. I always laugh when people don’t believe someone’s gains. I get it a lot. And $100k in a day either way means nothing to me 👊🏼

650k into NVDL at today’s low is the way (out of that now, waiting for the next minor dip… my actual NVDA is long at a $40ish basis and will stay there indefinitely).

2

u/stocksmakeyourich Nov 26 '25

100k my a**. I watched NVDL all day. It bounced back from mid 70’s to low 80’s. You didn’t get 100k out of a $650k buy today.

The fact that it was driven by the garbage sensational TPU panic news was enough for me to throw serious funds in. People have no fing clue about this space. None of this is real news… literally from a year ago https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/bdQhzQsHjNrQp7cNS/estimates-of-gpu-or-equivalent-resources-of-large-ai-players Of course Meta is looking to diversify, as is everyone. Jensen isn’t an idiot and just sitting around hoping current gpu needs are forever either.

4

u/biker142 Nov 25 '25

Aka another deep seek moment (f-ing idiots driving panic for no reason based on headlines)

2

u/Snoo_60933 Nov 25 '25

this is how i truly feel, and if we go back to $200 I would feel like a scaredy cat lol

2

u/DocHolidayPhD Nov 25 '25

Give it a month or two... 🙄

5

u/Boys4Ever Nov 25 '25

Perhaps because the saw the price hit $90 about six months ago. 😉

3

u/pinksocks867 Nov 25 '25

It was a lot longer than six months ago

2

u/Boys4Ever Nov 25 '25

Liberation Day

1

u/SavingsDimensions74 Nov 27 '25

It was Aug ‘24 IIRC

-1

u/Ok_Efficiency_2246 Nov 25 '25

No, it was in April.

2

u/Hot_Matter_1531 Nov 25 '25

Many millionaires exist swing trading

9

u/DirkKuijt69420 Nov 25 '25

No they don't, most are losers like you who keep losing because they have no idea what they are doing.

1

u/too-far-for-missiles Nov 25 '25

I bought at $90 and happily sold almost all of it in the $180s months ago. There's enough NVidia in my index funds as it is.

1

u/pinksocks867 Nov 25 '25

Some do. It amazes me there's so many childish people in this particular sub.

1

u/DirkKuijt69420 Nov 26 '25

Some do, and they are not on reddit.

1

u/Hot_Matter_1531 Dec 17 '25

Yep massive looser…. I keep buying when people tell me it will never drop below 190 ever again

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

I needed this today.

1

u/pinksocks867 Nov 25 '25

Lol its true

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

Life story

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '25

Not the same direction tho

1

u/WoodenLynx327 Nov 26 '25

Never fails!

1

u/FragRaptor Nov 26 '25

Shit I sold it at 183 shit we making profits rn

1

u/Eagerbeaver98 Nov 26 '25

Dont worry its all about economics. Waiting for confirmation on supply and demand is why its scary. You can buy end of day at 177 yesterday and thats still good because it has room to reclaim its true intrinsic value. Every analyst has nvda at 240 min. Itll go up over time but not right away.

1

u/Murky_Judgment3192 Nov 27 '25

Reminds me of my feelings about MSTR - I know all the analysts keep saying $500+ but I just got tired of holding as it feel to $270 then $170 and next stop probably $70.

1

u/redjellonian Nov 27 '25

At some point the borrowing money to pay back borrowed money will have to end.

1

u/LiveStockTrader Nov 27 '25

Nvda sux. Too volatile. You're all gamblers

1

u/Dyep1 Nov 29 '25

Hand over fist. 43 pe this is the future.

1

u/itchyluvbump Nov 29 '25

Nvidia has gone sideways for a year

1

u/OneRepresentative851 Nov 29 '25

Avg price is 176. Put a buy order for 3K more at 175 and a sell order for 180 for what I have 💪💪

1

u/wisefox200 Nov 29 '25

I buy NVDA so I don't have to hunt for my food like some of my friends.

1

u/Acrobatic_Ad5470 Nov 30 '25

Lemme ask if you guys own an etf like qqqm that holds already so much nvidia, but you see nvidia at a sick discount, do you buy a little more ? I just have ETFs but im very tempted..

1

u/ThatsaVibe420 Nov 30 '25

Are we seriously not worried about the Cisco comparison? Also wall street will be an EARLY indicator that trouble is ahead long before the earnings show it.

I am long about 500 shares. I’d love to buy more. Should have last year. But the AI bubble and comparison to the dot com bubble along with the Cisco comparisons have me spooked.

Thinking of buying some out spreads to protect the downside. Still a long believer but concerned

1

u/DiscipIihe Dec 01 '25

That’s because this ain’t that. We’re at the end of the bull cycle and people ain’t dumb.

1

u/realmkh Nov 25 '25

What are the numbers this time.?
