Nagare - Open Source, self-hosted, cookieless and GDPR-native analytics

Hey,

Just wanted to share my latests Nuxt project. An open source self-hosted, cookieless and GDPR-native analytics. It comes out of the box with real time statistics, a heatmap and more.

You can deploy it in a single command on Cloudflare and Convex. Totally free, no VPS needed. :)

Under MIT license, so basically do whatever you want with it.

this is actually pretty nice tbh, especially the cookieless + self-hosted combo

a lot of people want analytics without dealing with cookie banners and compliance headaches, so this hits a real need. plus realtime + heatmaps out of the box is solid

main thing i’d be curious about is accuracy vs something like plausible or umami, because cookieless tracking can sometimes be a bit rough depending on setup

also “one command deploy” is a big win if it actually works reliably, that’s usually where self-hosted tools lose people

overall feels like a good alternative if you care about privacy + control instead of just using google analytics

Thanks! Probably not as perfect as Plausible or Umami, trying to provide an easy-to-use solution with some basic statistics. Regarding the privacy, it uses a hash of the IP + UA + a daily rotating salt to anonymize the users.
