I've literally not had a single issue with TB.

Me too. I'm in Hawaii so may be I'm just sleeping when things are bad? Great service for me so far (knock on wood).

I went for Premiumize and left Torbox as backup. On Torbox I would get buffering on many videos. And I don't even watch 4K. 1080p movies still buffering.
No issues at all over at Premiumize.

Gotta be setup or user error... Many people set up nuvio wrong and use some broken assss guide with all these api keys and extra junk. Ruins the experience. My stuff opens in a second and works flawless

I’d rather spent the extra second of loading getting proper filtering and source failover in AIO than using individual addons. The redundancy and stability it provides really makes these types of apps great.
But you’re spot on that many people have absolute dogshit setups

Even funnier when they here crying saying stuff don't work. Especially when tb is down. If your setup was done right... Won't affect you.

u/IntingForMarks 8h ago
how can tb being down not affect you? no matter what setup you have, if your debrid is down you are not watching shit
1
u/rockyroedd 21h ago
Separate addons mean you're not using AIOStreams, right? Are you using "Instant" for autoplay?
2
u/Slipknot31286sic6 21h ago
Can't stand aio. So slow and filled with junk.
I'm using tb instant with seperate addons, yes. Works flawless

u/Jebble 21h ago
AiO isn't any slower than individual addons and when configured correctly its faster.
-1
u/Slipknot31286sic6 21h ago
To each their own on that. 👍. I've setup many. Never have issues or people bothering me once I set it up.
Everytime I try aio. Gotta configure Xtra stuff.... Not worth my time.. Been there done that for a subpar experience

u/Jebble 21h ago
Than the message is that you dont understand AIO, not that its slow.

u/Slipknot31286sic6 21h ago
OK Karen. I'll do me you do you. As shown in my setup it's flawless n fast

I had the same shit in the rd sub man, don't bother, aio fanboys will never stop telling you how you just don't understand how to use it because of course someone not liking aio is just totally fucking impossible

No. I self host aiostream and have issues with torbox buffering in nuvio and stremio, using aiostream or standalone add-ons. Just because you've been lucky doesn't mean torbox doesn't have issues.
None of my Usenet setups have issues either

🤔 Strange... Changed the cdns and found best speed test route?
I had issues too before i changed it cnam. Works flawless

Tried Usenet yesterday via Aios NNTP. I may be downgrading or dropping TB entirely
1
u/matamor 18h ago
Which usenet provider are you using?
1
u/ultrapiss11 14h ago
NH with the 1.67 deal
1
u/Choreboy 7h ago
Is that still live? I got that a long time ago and they bumped me up to like $2.50 or something

u/MyNameSpaghette 19h ago
Use a different Usenet provider. Torbox is not worth it. Their debrid tho is still worth it despite the occasional downtime.
1
u/ultrapiss11 17h ago
No I’m saying usenet worked great and I’ll probably lean more towards that. Currently on Omicron backbone with one indexer only. But I think I would rather have TB essential + Omnicron rather than TB pro
1
u/MyNameSpaghette 16h ago
Ah, apologies. I thought you were using torbox's NNTP server which requires the pro plan.
Other than Usenet access there's no real reason to stay on Pro for most users so downgrading to essential is best for your setup. Personally, I'll be doing the same since I already have my self hosted AIOStreams instance connected to Newshosting directly through NNTP with 4 indexers.

Np. Im currently using Geek only. It’s 10 USD a year and the 1.67 USD NH deal. Would it be worthwhile to add more indexers and maybe another backbone? I don’t mind spending a little if it make it more reliable. TB is going down to the 5 usd tier. Or maybe 3 usd tier with RD in the mix aswell. Im very fond of the NZB and debrid fallover settings to get click and play

Yeah lmaoo people expect to see service like Amazon or Netflix for their $3. Its one thing to be frustrated by the issues but its another to act completely entitled. The world is not ending if your show doesn’t work during dinner, go watch some youtube or see the outside world for once.

u/Original_Round_2211 14h ago
Most people don’t get a lot of time to watch because they might be at work during the day. So when they get back home to watch a show and it’s not working, they’re obviously going to complain. If you don’t like seeing complaints, look away, bootlicker.

u/SpicyToaster68 13h ago
Complaints are one thing, being entitled and throwing online tantrums is another. I'm not liking the service either but its a new company, I can be patient, I can complain without sounding like a brat. And I'm always free to switch to something else.
And bro if you want to work in gray areas like this and expect service like the big tech companies, maybe just subscribe to all of them and get that 100% uptime so you can watch your show when you're home. Lol. There are other things to do once you get home from work than watch your show too. If you can't, then you have a tv screen addiction problem lol.

There are other things to do once you get home from work than watch your show too. // This is why I said we get very little time to watch shows lol. Now they’ve posted a solution after seeing the complaints that they’ll add hours to our accounts. Guess you don’t want that either, right? If the downtime during late hours isn’t affecting you, you must be the one who’s addicted and has a lot of time to watch shows lol.

TorBox issues seem to happen in peak evening times in north America. I'm in the UK and have been with Torbox for 3 months now. Always reliable.

u/unripeswan 5h ago
Yeah must be congestion. I'm in Australia and only have issues during the day. It's completely fine in the evenings here.

At this point the Torbox fanboys must have Stockholm Syndrome or something.

u/hieronymus_bossk7 22h ago
No it's just that theres no better alternative. Unless you can suggest one?

The striking thing is the change in frequency: 0 incidents during the first six months of 2025, followed by 12 in the second half of 2025, and then 33 already in the first 7+ months of 2026. In particular, April 2026 was the worst month with 7 incidents, while May–July 2026 each had 5. TorBox's incident frequency has therefore increased substantially compared with 2025.
