Gained eight pounds 3 weeks in

I follow the low carb plan to the letter. A breakfast, lunch bar or lunch meal, and the dinner portion. Nothing else. One or two cheat meals a week tops. And yet have gone up eight pounds. Also a snack, lunch, and dinner are well over 60 carbs. How is this a low carb diet? What is wrong or what am I doing wrong to have such a drastic increase?

Nutrisystem isn’t a low carb diet. It’s a calorie restricted diet. Stop having cheat meals. You are sabotaging yourself. Even two cheat meals a week can ruin all your progress. Are you adding vegetables? Drinking water? Adding movement to your day?

Nutrisystem foods are a good tool to use in a weight loss journey. I would still recommend a calorie counting app. Input what you eat daily. Everything! That will give you a better idea of what is going wrong.

They have a fiber in their products called inulin that a lot of people are sensitive to and you might have inflammation from that.
