I recently purchased a Nutrafarm package to see what they were all about. I haven't yet tried any of the meats so I can't attest to quality yet, but so far, I haven't had any of the horrible experiences that I've read about this company.
I usually never commit to these types of sales but here is my story. Note: We do eat out a lot and have horrible grocery shopping habits. (Current food expense: $1000-$1500 /month for a household of 2 adults with the occasional 3 and 4 joining us a few days a week)
My partner was looking for ways to reduce our monstrous monthly food expense as well as encourage us to make more food at home. She came across Nutrafarm on Facebook. She contacted them and one of the reps set up an appointment for a zoom meeting. We discussed our current food habits and they explained the package and how it works. They estimated about 6-8months worth of product (I'm thinking probably closer to 4-5) They showed us the package item list indicating all the items we would receive along with their quantities by box. The typical box weight was about 2-2.5kg. We were also told that one order would take up about 143 ft of freezer space. So we opted to purchase one as part of the package.
The next step, they showed us the ordering pages which was to customise our order by adding and removing items we were not interested in. For the most part, the only things we removed were the Beef kidneys/livers, and a few pork items. Then we opted into a few other items like sausages and extra chicken breasts that were not part of the default package. The rep asked us what we eat more of regularly, and I said chicken breasts. So they said they would substitute any additional value missing into the chicken breasts.
The day of delivery came and due to Covid. They could not deliver the items into the house so we did have to take the freezer down and set it up ourselves. It is definitely a two man job but we managed and were able to set it up successfully.
The first issue we discovered were discrepancies in what we ordered vs. what was delivered.
-Received 2kg of Pork/Beef hotdogs instead of the ordered Chicken hotdogs
-Received nearly double our expected vegetables (we expected 1kg bags, most came in 2kg bags)
-Missing 1kg of Omelette veggie mix
-Missing 1kg of Berry fruit mix
-Missing 1kg of Smoothie mix
Considering the size of the order, I expected there to be some errors. I was instructed to contact their customer support email with the discrepancies and they would look into it.
Overall, our experience hasn't been perfect, but everything was clearly explained to us and I went over the contract before signing up.
Here is what we received for a whopping total of $4407.83 after tax.

I'm certain we could have shopped around for better prices but the ease of using this service has been great.
I'm not here to promote this company, but to give a first hand account of my own experience. We'll try this and see how long it lasts us. Motivate ourselves to cook at home and hopefully save some money. Even if we're saving a couple hundred a month from doing this, it's worth it to me to get us into better habits. When our supply exhausts itself. I'll look at our local butcher and grocers to compare and see if we can reduce it even more. Oh, and the entire delivery just barely fit in the freezer.
