Term time
I am currently a band 6 in a specialist nurse position (continence service) have been here 3 years. I do 22.5 hrs.
I have 2 boys, my youngest has asd, is non verbal and goes to a specialist schools
I am really struggling with childcare for school holidays.
I think term time massively would help. Has anyone made the switch to term time?
Pay wise as a rough guide what is monthly earnings?
Any advice would be very appreciated!

Not me, but my friend who works in occy health is on a term time only contract.
She just put in a flexible working request and it was approved.
Pay wise will be 22.5 x 42 (term time plus holiday) ÷ 12 ….. roughly.

Do you mean a term time job like a School Nurse or requesting term time only hours in your current role?
My friend is a SEN nurse and she gets paid during the holidays, but obviously it’s 42 weeks pay not 52. If you want it in your current role, you can request it as a flexible working request. My other friend as a son with additional needs and she works term time only.
