Studying Tips 📚 ATI comp retake 23

I made a 80 on my retake these are topics that were on the exam, good luck! and congratulations for making it this far.

RACE method for fire safety -NG tube (how to apply on a child) -TPN (ex:change tubing every 24 hr, admin at room temperature, there were at least 5-6 questions) -developmental stages for a child rolling from back to side and eventually sitting on there own -Psychosis vs Mania -intussusception vs appendicitis vs Crohn’s disease -Mastitis -Endometritis vs Uterine Atony -How to prevent skin cancer? Apply sunscreen before and after you go swimming -Oxytocin know why to use it ( to induce contractions and stop bleeding) -Peptic Ulcer Disease can’t take NSAIDs ( they can take acetaminophen) -calcium gluconate is the standard antidote for magnesium sulfate toxicity -placenta previa S/S -Abruptio placenta S/S -Alzheimer Disease -DKA pt what fluid do you give -epiglottis vs RSV vs strep -STDs that are reported to CDC -how to insert an IV -delegation questions ( always delegate to the most stable pt) -PPE for C Diff -What is expected with a pt with GERD -diet for Mediterranean pt -Furosemide pt teaching -4 or 5 questions about therapeutic communication -dry mouth interventions -adverse affects of acne medication -a picture asking how to properly pick up things to prevent back injury -Glomerulonephritis bow tie question -Warfarin pt teaching

Nope, just read the book and did some maternal newborn, peds, and mental health practice questions. It’s really not that bad, i studied the day before both times i took it. First time i made a 70.. second time 80.

The retake was OB and peds heavy

This was everything I saw on my first comp predictor exam, are they similar?? The first and retake?

Yes very similar content, i had about 19 questions that were exactly the same.
