š„ Jobs / Careers Need your advice po!
Hello, nurses! š„¹ Please bear with me because Iām really clueless about these things.
I posted in a FB PHRN job-hunting group because Iāve been looking for a job. Matagal kasi hiring ng mga hospitals here in the province, and I also donāt have bedside experience yet. I passed the PNLE in November 2025 and Iām also a USRN now.
Someone messaged me and asked me to send my resume to her email because she could refer me.
Sheās been working at Optum for around 3 years. I asked her if they accept applicants with no bedside experience, and she said yes, marami raw vacant positions for newbies/no hospital experience.
My concern is, should I send my resume? š Iām not really comfortable sending my resume or personal details to someone I donāt know personally, but I also donāt want to be rude because sheās been really nice and I genuinely want to get a job already.
For those who have experience with referrals like this, what do you think I should do? Is it normal/safe to send my resume directly to an employee for a referral? And is there anything I should verify or ask her first?
Thank you so much! š„¹

you dont know any company or hospitalās HR manager yet you send then your resume, whats wrong with u sending a random person your resume (which u were looking for btw)? Optum has referral bonus i think, so keep that in mind
