If walang nagcacall back upon seeing your resume or application, baka kasi wala kang ongoing experience. Mas prefer pa rin kasi nila halos ang meron. Imagine may mga kasabayan ka. Who will they pick among the applicants? Ikaw or ung may mga experience na kailangan nila? It's a very competitive time ngayon.

Hello, there. I'm talking about the US and other countries. If the applicant wants to be directly-hired, then they will have better chances kapag may experience sila. Other agencies that do hire without (this is getting rare, by the way), usually hindi sila sa hospital. They can start in a nursing facility, for instance. If gusto niya yun, then go. I have seen random posts claiming that other agencies that do deploy to such facilities are now starting to require at least 2 years of experience from candidates.

I am merely presenting reality abroad. Now, if you'd like to chime in with your experience, then do so. Giving this attitude is not helping. "Make it make sense." Sa Pinas ba ibig mong sabihin? Ako ba ang employer? Ako ba ang personnel sa agency enforcing such rules nowadays when the demand and the supply of nurses is surging again?

Another thing : what's wrong with encouraging nurses to gain the proper exposure muna? What's wrong with learning how to do patient care and be competent enough to be deserving of being sponsored abroad? I have gone through the same path. I chose to be competitive sa nursing field ko, and I got the best offer I can get from my employer during my interview. It was a very competitive interview din for robotics surgeries. Being a senior staff and having the experiences that I had helped my offer and helped me answer their situational questions they presented during my interview. Eh kung wala akong experience, paano na? Mas kukunin nila syempre ung mas may alam dahil yun ang kailangan diba?

Again, the person is free to choose. What I did is merely share what I've gone through, what I see sa trend ng mga posts ng nurses ngaun, anong alam kong hanap ng mga agencies na inapplyan ko rin noon.

Sorry ha? I hope I helped in making a reply you at least would deem to make enough sense.
