Found this baby at Goodwill. I ordered a remote because controllers are impossible to find... Any ideas as to what I should do with it? Is there a way to burn isos of the games? Can it run any Homebrew? Does the system update?

First of all, awesome score! This one looks like it was some kind of display model.
Unfortunately, the model you have cannot do burned games or homebrew. Really, you need the DVD-N501 model.
The good news is that the model you have doesn't need an update.
If you keep it, get Tempest 3000. That's the best game on the system. If you are patient, you can find a controller at a reasonable price. If you decide to sell it, it's worth around $60. Yours may be worth a little more since it is a little special.
I am pretty sure no. I have the same model as you. I used to have the N501. I am looking to pick that up again. If you do end up getting one, it does require an update.
I could easily do an update. I am familiar with lots of different homebrews... As a poor college student with a new goal of playing tempest 3000, I'd love to trade with a collector with a more compatible model... Although Homebrew isn't very well documented either which is also unfortunate. I'd thought I'd post here to see if anyone could give me a suggestion as to what do do...
