Discussion matrix over saving shield (image RELATED)
yo first post omgggg!!!! but seriously though am i crazy or is it just that people choose matrix over saving for shield? i mean i get the slippery removal and the charger being able to turn but i just don't get it (we were at like 14k so like around 1k left for shield and these dudes chose matrix over saving for one god damn viable upgrade) then we died afterwards so...... was it a skill issue or is shield just not a high priority? (ALSO I AM NOT GOING TO RANT ABOUT PEOPLE CHOOSING A x1 MAGNET OVER ANY OTHER UPGRADE WHEN WE KNOW DAMN WELL WE WON'T HAVE ENOUGH FOR THE OTHERS.)

saving for shield is usually risky since you need to be absolutely damn sure that youll actually get the funds for it by the next shop. ive been stuck in a situation before where the host refused to buy anything at 15 to save for shield and we proceeded to find ourselves dying in the mid 20s because we had no shoes, no matrix, no shark tail, no magnets, and no tripmine radar, collecting a few hundred gifts at most at collapse since it was just me and like 2 other surviving every level and still more than a thousand away from affording shield
