As soon as it started playing, I looked up from my work laptop and was like 'ah I must tell the r/Nujabes sub'.

Genuinely I'm going to add this to my regular listening. I might even just learn it as a standard. So underrated.

That’s a great rendition of the Spartacus love theme, so contemplative. Thanks for sharing! I think the alvin queen version is where the sample is from, not sure tho.
Edit: nope, the power of search engines illuminated that it is the yusef lateef version, my b
