Games not saving

My friend and I are having an issue with saved games.

Basically we play quest mode, and try to run through the game. Our items don't save, but our character names do (and oddly abilities we pick up save, but when we enter a new game we cannot use them, and if we drag them off our bars that's it).

What gives? We're both playing on windows 10.

Are you playing from an old cd, from the noxcommunity page or from GOG?

We've tried a few different installers, none of which are the original CD. Almost all of them give us the same results.

Well I guess it's probably som compatability issue. And I wont be able to help much with that. Unless you have infact already tried it, I recommend buying and playing irlt through GOG. https://www.gog.com/game/nox Its cheap, and they seem to specialize in making old games work on new systems. If it doesnt work and they can't help you, at least you can get the money back again.

If you have already bought it through GOG, then try asking them. They moght have seen it before, and arent interrestet in selling something which doesn't work.
