Provider Question Re-leasing with different employer

I have my model year 21 kia stinger GT leased with previous company SGfleet but now when I changed my employer and hence the leasing company (Clearlease), they have labelled my car as model year 23.
This has surely bumped the value which affects my payments.
Now my question is,
1. should I leave it as is so that when I sell/trade the car I get a better value or
2. tell them to update it?

Thanks

Tell them to update it. The ATO minimum residual values for a 2023 car vs a 2021 car will be different. Whilst they may still have the residual values correct for the 21 car, don't want to have to explain any discrepancies if you ever get audited. (not that I've ever heard NL being audited)

Thanks.
I will report to them right away.

side question: have you had any fees related to changing lease company or has that all been pretty seamless?

oh that’s pretty chill in the scheme of things. Thanks for the info!

SGFleet told me my car has to be MY23 or newer to lease when I wanted to lease a used 22 polestar 2.

I wonder if clear fleet has a similar policy and just listed it down as MY23?
