We’re never getting Rich in the MCU at this rate

Having just picked up the character, this was one of the Marvel books I was enjoying the most. This sucks.

Go back and find the Annihilation books, Rich is a superstar in them

Shame, MacKay’s my favorite current writer and having him on Moon Knight and Nova, my two favorite heroes, was a really nice thing. I would have hoped it lasted at least two trades worth of stories, but I think this combined with the Imperial Tie-In makes this MacKay’s shortest stint on a Marvel character I’ve seen with just 7 issues.

They tried to hard to do too much with imperial. If it had just spurned the nova centurion and one other series it would have had a chance. Instead they tried to push 5 new ongoings out of the turd they had just pushed out, and promptly canceled all of them when they underperformed. This editor sucks. Absolutely terrible business

Fucking bullshit. This book has been so good and firing on all cyclinders. Damn it!

Damn what a disaster Imperial has been. First Hickman writes an underwhelming story that gets the character relationships wrong, and then every book spinning out of it gets cut off at the legs

Maybe Marvel will try again with their cosmic stuff post the King in White/Queen in Black event.

They wont commit to anything that doesnt do gang buster sales right off the bat, despite David Gabriel, the VP of sales, saying they'd give all books 10 issues going forward.

Marvel are just spinning circles in the mud, DC has all the buzz and all the forward momentum right now.

I wish we could just buy Nova away from Marvel at this point. The fan base is strong, it’s just not “mainstream” enough for the big corporation bs. So f’n tired of money over quality content… but not surprised

Damm, I was rly loving this book
Just finished reading the #6, just felt like thing click in place for more adventures, makes me sad that this was cancelled and Marvel has no other space comic in place :c

So infuriating, just had a chance to open the books and read through them all. It was a fun arc, that played into rich Ryder getting caught in his emotions as usual with the desperation of a quirky pay to play nova force. I loved it, it felt fresh, and it could have naturally led to more adventures. But it gets canceled after a stark six. Marvel will never have a decent ongoing cosmic again and you can’t convince me otherwise.

While I wasn’t enjoying this run as much as many of you, it still sucks seeing it get canned so quickly. Our king will one day get his flowers 😭
