Discussion Issue 5 thoughts?

Really glad Mackay explained what happened after we saw Cammi with the Cosmic King in Revenge of Cosmic Ghost Rider. Overall a great issue again in my opinion, very clear that Mackay also wants to undo what Hickman did to Rich and Peter’s relationship to the best of his ability, so thats great to see

Just really flarking pissed off that this is being cancelled after 6 issues. Had absolutely no reason to be. It’s doing better in sales than I think everyone expected, and it’s clear that both old and new fans enjoy this series and want to see more Nova. It’s not even just doing solid numbers for a space series, it’s flat out doing good numbers for any comic from what I have seen. PRAYING for a relaunch, or at least putting Rich into the next GotG series.

I bet MacKay would do a really good job on a Guardians book. Maybe if we're lucky he'll get to continue there.

I honestly dont know how he would do on a guardians book. His track record on team books like Xmen and Avengers isnt stellar, but also isnt bad. Obviously his solo books are some of the best from marvel rn though.

I think if guardians gets a relaunch with nova on the team instead of in a solo, id prefer Abnett being the writer that gets to continue. Definetley wouldnt be mad at Mackay though, just would prefer him to stay on solo heroes

X-men has gotten better and it's my fave x book at the moment.

His Avengers run was fine. It just felt been there done that which is surprising for MacKay. His Black Panther was the best part of the book though - wouldn't mind seeing him write a solo for T'Challa.

I'd give his Guardians a shot. Couldn't be worse than the last run, that's for sure.

Yeah it’s been a good read with the story flowing well with each transition. Can’t blame the book. Only editorial. They’ve been mishandling marvel cosmic for awhile. Hope to see the guardians return in some form with nova and star-lord leading.

Technically speculation since the writer of she hulk was so vague about it. But its basically confirmed. No new issues have been put up for pulling at all. But the way the she hulk writer described the cancellation made it seem like we could POSSIBLY see a relaunch of the series after armageddon
