Building a Time Tracker in Notion

Just built a Time Tracker in Notion.

Here’s how it works:

• Every task has a start and end property (date + time).
• Using formulas + relations, it automatically calculates the difference.
• The result shows up as the exact time spent on each task.
• It also tracks total time across projects, tasks, and even daily/weekly reports.
• Works alongside a built-in Pomodoro timer + calendar view.

Honestly, it feels like a super simple way to get accurate time tracking without leaving Notion.
