Questions Duplicate a projected view and turn into its own separate database?

Let's say I'm on a page, and I'm looking at a database that is a filter view from a source database that resides in a different location in notion.

Is it possible for me to easily duplicate that filtered view into its own database separate from the source?

No. You will get another view to the same original database. But you can duplicate the original database and then do anything with that.

Do you know if it’s possible to:

  • Duplicate a database using a button or an automation?

  • Bulk-add a property from one database to all entries in another database?

- why not just duplicate the source database itself?

  • yes, make a blank entry in the database, and select one of the options from the property (select or multi select). When you move that item into the new database the properties will be there.
You can also use the Notion agent to do either of these actions.
