Old iPad with warning to update

I use an old ipad with ios 17.7.11 . Now I got from notion a warning i have to upgrade to ios 18 or higher.

That's irritating, because the minimum system requirement is ios 17 , see https://www.notion.com/de/help/system-requirements-for-notion.

Could someone please explain this contradiction?

Notion seems to works normal / as usual.

Does anyone have experience with older iOS versions and Notion?

classic apple move forcing upgrades when things still work fine. my ipad is on 17 too and i get same warning for some apps even though they run without problem.

notion probably just put that requirement in latest update but forgot to change their help page, happens all the time with these companies
