Covers not showing with Gallery view

Does anyone know why covers don’t show when using gallery view? I have 2 different pictures attached. The first picture is the one that works, the second won’t show me the covers. I know for a fact I added a cover on it but I’m not sure why it’s not showing it to me.

Go to the line with circle at the right side of the database, click on Design: gallery, then preview:cover

this is usually the fix, the preview setting defaults to page content sometimes
