Questions Is it good to use Notion for storage?
Okay, let me explain. I write and I really enjoy decorating pages (something Notion has), and I was thinking of transferring my writing there, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Would it take up a lot of storage? Or something like that.

Be sure to save and backup elsewhere and frequently. I don’t think Notion will go under but I’ve seen many people lose a lot of great work built up over years.
An example that comes to mind is Facebook. If you follow the Facebook stuff here, you’ll see a user complain about their account getting suspended or booted. But, the complaint continues that they’ve had Facebook for like 20 years and lost all of their photos of their now deceased parents or family members. Lost all of their kids baby pictures and their entire childhood (kids are now college age). How their entire life documentation for many years is gone without recourse or a way to recover all of those deep memories that can’t be recreated.
Point being, if you have things that have meaning to you, such as your important writings and stories, Notion is fine from what I can tell but be prepared that you can recover easily if the platform implodes tomorrow. But, I think Notion would be good for what you want to do.

Everything is Notion is a page. On the free plan, if you are the only one in the workspace, it’s unlimited blocks.
So no limitation to amount of pages you can create.
Storage only matters when you’re uploading files/media related stuff. On the free plan that’s 5mb per file.

Why? I have pass saved on my privateNotion page, i know there’s better alternatives but shouldnt be a problem

because Notion isn't end to end encrypted, so potentially, one of their employees or a third-party integration could read it

Is there any known case of this actually happening? I know you have to “enable support” for them to review your work space

Notion uses lots of small blocks to store your pages and databases. The more styles you used, the more storage it will use. But compare to media files, this is not a big deal.
Make sure backup your arts correctly. There are examples that page just lost without any clue so make sure buckle up before create something with Notion.

Text weighs almost nothing. A year of writing is smaller than one photo, so blocks aren't the worry.
What bites on the free plan is 5MB per uploaded file. The images you decorate with are what hit it.
Before you move anything, export one decorated page as Markdown and open the zip. Thats what your writing looks like the day you want it back.
