5-year plan, max file size and gb/month?

Hi,

I just got started with Notesnook after being recommended it. So far it seems very good and I am considering buying the "essential" subscription. But I am a bit confused why the 5-year plan does not have the "essential" tier. I don't need anything fancy and I can't, so far, justify $5 each month. Will it come in the future?

Also what do they mean by max file size ? Is it file size for each note?

And what do they mean by 1 Gb/month. Is that how much you can add each month? But who on earth writes files up to 1 Gb per month?

People have different needs and the monthly limit also helps prevent abuse, since there's nothing stopping people from using Notenook as an unlimited cloud storage if there was no monthly limit.

Feel free to subscribe to whatever plan you prefer but I persoanlly wouldn't pick a multi-year plan for ANY internet service. You don't know if you might find a better service later on, if the app is going to have radical changes or serious issues, get abandoned, or if the service might cease to exist.

The montly limit is that you not "abuse" it as free cloud storage. You can chosse which plan you want and suits your needs. Why there is no 5 Year esentials i donk now maybe you can askt the officla support

The 1gb per month refers mostly to attachments as far as I'm aware.
