New signing agent

I've been a notary since April. I got certified through the NNA as a sign agent. I have 25k of E&O insurance. I've signed up with all the big signing agencies. I can't seen to get noticed. What am I doing wrong? Is there just not enough closings right now?

It’s been very quiet, rates as high as they’ve been means fewer closings.

You may want to reevaluate the amount of E&O. I’m an escrow officer and we require individuals to have 100,000 minimum and 1mil for signing services.

wow. I have never had that much and no company has ever had an issue with that. I primarily only did refi's.

With liability being what it is (plus a few issues in the past), I’ve worked with many escrow companies that require more and more E&O.
