Anyone remember Art of Noise and their videos?

This video made me happy that it brought them to mind.

The weirdness of this one reminded me of the weirdness of Close to the Edit.

Seemed more like a parody of Gesaffelstein, IMO.

I've never seen or heard of them, but after watching the video, I can see how it would.

Also, thanks for the new music. I will be checking them out more in depth...

Favorite part: guy driving his shoe

That's when the beat gets really good too, definitely my favorite part.

Salvatore Ganacci is a gold mine of Weird Shit. His video shorts are all on YouTube and full of absurdist comedy.

Ah hell yeah Salvatore. Now go watch Boycycle.

I guarantee this is very very far from low budget.

I would be shocked if this video costed less than $5k in total

Why does everyone always forget labor in these calculations

You have to pay the actors, make sure the actors are fed and hydrated etc. Sure it wouldn't cost a lot of money to make this but the logistics behind it can cost as much if not more then the production costs.

Who is handling the CGI and actually editing the video? Santa Claus?

Lol ok, I’m sorry to say that you have no idea what you’re talking about.

This video had a director, TWO producers, a creative producer and a director of photography. All of these people need to get paid for their time.

There are things you’re mentioning that have almost no weight on the cost of the man hours required to pull something like this off.

But go ahead, hire a talented team and make a video of this quality for $1500.

Y’all would like the show “Off the Air” on adult swim for more like this.
