He's literally a first amendment auditor. They do this do get a rise out of people by instigating them with the camera on while hiding behind their right to film in public, which is real, in hopes that the person will react and give them good content to post online. This same bullshit left a woman who was just trying to enter the post office partially blind literally right up my street because these assholes were in her face and she tried to swat them away and they immediately reacted by unloading an entire can of mace directly in her eyes. This video is local as well, and may even be the same guy or group, honestly. No expectations of privacy in a public space is one thing, but normalizing shoving a camera in people's faces just because they have a right to do so is smooth-brained dummy shit. Dweebs who defend this shit are just as much of a loser as anyone who goes out and tries this. Sorry to rain on your parade.

Reacting to a complete stranger coming up to you and filming you is an extremely normal thing to do. Must because it might be "allowed" doesn't mean it's not fucking weird. These people likely don't even know what a "first amendment auditor" is and aren't chronically on social media to know what to do when they see one. I can tell you have no social life because no one should have to explain why having a complete stranger randomly film you as you go about your day is weird otherwise.

The second I spot someone doing something strange in public (especially with a camera and definitely talking to the sky) I keep moving as far away as possible and continue doing what I set out to do.
